I have just had a period lounge suite reconditioned by Peter and his team. I can not believe the transformation from the old run down furniture that he picked up to the absolutley beautiful furniture that has just been delivered back to us. He has brought back to life a piece of history. The colour of the frame is exactly what was asked for and the patern on the cushions is centred perfectly.

We have just had a 3 seat sofa with separate cushions, a genoa chair, a wing chair and a recliner recovered. All of the pieces needed to be stripped down to the frames and needed repairs to those frames with refinishing before they could be rebuilt with new components and recovered. The fabric selection offered was excellent both in quality and choice. Peter really knows his business and he and his staff were always a pleasure to deal with. At the same time as our work was being done I recommended him to another person who was equally delighted with his sofas and chairs. My sofa is more comfortable than it was when we purchased it 34 years ago. The genoa is finished better than any other I have seen. My parents' wing chair which is about 45 years old looks better than when it was originally made by a craftsman. My husband's recliner is more comfortable than it was originally and looks much smarter. Peter also personalised our furniture by making adjustments such as the height of the seats. I cannot recommend Peter and his team highly enough. We and our friends are all thrilled to have had the opportunity to deal with such professional and knowledgable people. And their prices were so reasonable that we have friends who wish they had recovered their furniture rather than buying new product that has proved to be disappointing with poor frames and materials despite being known brands. Our verdict: recovering/repairing our furniture using the Brandes team was the best decision we could have made.
