DO NOT USE GOLDEN FENCING. I contracted golden fencing to remove and replace a fence and a gate on my property at the same time. He wanted half the money up front to buy the materials, after he received the deposit, he didn't show up when he said he would. When he finally started he made a mess cutting out the concrete holes, then he used concrete made from rubble and dirt mixed in, he didn't fill in the holes properly making a ugly mess, the fence isn't straight or level, also some posts and sheets are scratched(colourbond), he also broke one of the caps when fitting it to the top. When confronted he said its my concrete that made the fence wonky. With the gate he installed it and the side panel isn't straight. The height of the two gates that meet up are different height (VERY noticeable) the gaps are not straight.Nearly every sheet and post are scratched, the wheels under the gate swivel and jam when you open and close the gate. When I confronted him he said my concrete is old which caused the height difference, He then put paint on the scratches to fix them, but the scratches are still visible, and the wheels he installed are the best ones possible. I then asked him if he ever fit wheels to a gate before he hesitated and said yes while shaking his head no. He then told me that I am to fussy and that the powder coater scratched the steel, when I said take it back he said it was done in transport (by him). He still demanded the rest of the money, I said the job is not done properly and he said to take off $100 which was nothing to what i payed him. He said just push the gate harder and it will open. He told me that he normally charges more but looked after us due to getting so much done, which was still a substantial amount. I told him that I will not recommend him to any one and he said they will be to fussy as well. After completion I talked to the neighbors in the street who had work done by him and they all complained. VERY VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.
