Absolute Kitchens

I wish I could say that my kitchen is amazing, well that is what I was hoping for, but it did not happen. False promises, always excuses for not showing up, cupboards and doors not completed, kickboards never replaced, inserts and drawers for oven was forgotten and it was on my plans, bench top was the wrong size also has bits broken off, drawers uneven

other problems.

Like others 99.9% of monies was paid to this person, without a completed kitchen.

I have tried to contact him so so many times since January, wont even acknowledge.

This is going to cost me more money, that I dont have to find someone that is trustworthy to fix someone's mistakes.

I wish I could rip it out, :(:(:(

Warning to anyone planning a kitchen renovation. We employed ZAYNE MOEKOTTE at Absolute Kitchens Ballarat back in October 2020. After paying a 50% deposit in October we were promised an install on the 3rd of December. On the 5th of December he turns up after weeks of empty promises and started building our kitchen in our lounge room one cupboard at a time one day at a time. This went on and on. After pushing for a completion date before Christmas we are left with a shoddy, half finished disaster. Far from the dream kitchen we’d envisaged. I am still missing drawers, handles, kickboards, shelving and inserts. Nothing is straight or level. We are so disappointed and wish we’d been warned about Absolute kitchens back in October.

Would NEVER recommend Absolute Kitchens Victoria (Ballarat). Extremely poor quality of workmanship. What should have been 2 (maybe 3 days) to install the kitchen in April 2020, took over 4 months and still not complete. Most measurements incorrect even to specifications provided. Laminate chipped and shattered. Rangehood cabinet made as standard cabinet and when remade still not correct. The bin and wari corner installed incorrectly and still having problems. The bevel on the drawers was poor and spacing between drawers made it almost impossible to open. We engaged the services of a Building Inspector to try to get the job completed but also adding an extra cost. However, in the end we knew that we had to replace all drawers and door fronts and remake half the kitchen to be at all satisfied with the finish. Very stressful and extra $$$$$

I would NEVER recommend Zayne and absolute kitchens. Took our deposit, and after weeks of empty promises, we never saw our cabinetry or our money back. Phones are disconnected, emails bouncing back. After leaving a Facebook review, I was contacted by at least 5 others with the same issue, but some left with gutted kitchens. Beware.

I just had beautiful new benchtops installed by Josh & Zayne from Absolute Kitchens. The service given to me whilst contemplating my decision was 10 out of 10 by Caitlin & Wayne. Not only were they clear and concise with all details when visiting the showroom, the team were on time and professional from job start to finish. Would most definitely use again and highly recommend to others looking for any new cabinetry/benches etc.
