Royal Park Salvage

We contracted Royal Park Salvage for the demolition of our property. The house and shed was to be demolished, made ready for upcoming property development.



Royal Park Salvage did their work at first glance - the house and shed was demolished but when our builders came to commence their development, the builders found concrete that was covered by dirt, from underneath where the shed had been.



The concrete was then dug up by the builders but we requested for Royal Park Salvage to collect and dump the leftover concrete at their expense. Royal Park Salvage argued the concrete was undiscovered by them and not left by them. They asked for photo proof of concrete remaining at the end of their demolition.



We, on good faith of all service providers being professional, didn’t suspect any sneaky business so we didn’t specifically check for any hidden concrete, beyond what was observable.



Unfortunately, our builders had to dig up and remove that concrete, which left us several hundreds of dollars out of pocket - all because we didn’t check Royal Park Salvage had completely removed all foundation and concreting from the demolition.



Extremely disheartening!
