Awful property managers who have done nothing to fix any broken toilets or taps in the apartment

We had rented the property at 35A Tweeddale Road.
Throughout the tenancy, the property managers were slow to respond to maintenance issues and other requests. For example, the property at 35A Tweeddale Road has poor plumbing, poor light fittings and the paint on walls is falling off literally (was painted very poorly). We even requested an extension of lease and had no reply from the property manager.
At the conclusion of the lease, we requested to attend the final inspection, which we are entitled to under the Residential Tenancies Act. The property managers refused to allow us to intend the inspection. I am not even sure they are aware of their obligations under the Act and the financial penalties for not conducting the final inspection correctly.
It has been 2 weeks and the property manager hasn't even completed the bond paperwork despite us already agreeing to the disbursements with the property manager. They never answer any phone calls or emails. Unfortunately, we have to apply to the Magistrates Court to resolve it, incurring additional expense and delay.
Tenants - be aware that bonds and any ongoing issues may take a very long time to be resolved.
Owners - our opinion is that this agency may not proactively look after your investment and financial interests, and that property managers may not be trained properly in their legal obligations.
