Mark Golds, owner of Fast Moves Australia is an absolute shonk.
I moved from Wagga to Walgett and found his business on a Backloading website.
From the beginning I couldn't fault his Customer Service, he contacted me numerous times via phone & email and he was an absolute gentleman - how things changed.
His quote of $850.00 was very competitive and because Walgett was a little out of the way I agreed to pay for his services 3 days before the arranged pickup.
The day came and went and when I tried to contact him all I got was an answering machine. 3 days later he called me to say he was very apologetic but had lost my details and my load would be on his next run. Apparently his internet was also down during this time.
5 1/2 years have passed, Mark Golds never delivered my furniture and never paid me back my $850.00 and I had to pay another removalist to complete to job.
I have attended a Consumer, Trader & Tenancy Tribunial, had numerous Garnishee Orders and had a Letter of Demand sent as well.
After contacting some of the other Removalists in his area it seems that he is renown for doing this on numerous occasions.
Stay away, cheapest isn't always best!
