Lisa, the owner, is a bully. She's rude to her staff and she doesn't know what she's doing.



The Keratin treatment she used on me stripped my hair colour so that it turned orange when the Keratin was washed it out. I had an event on the next morning so needed a colour over it then and there - Lisa knew this - $465.00 dollars later I was given what Lisa called a 'demi' but was basically some toner through my hair for 15 minutes. The 'demi' that Lisa put through my hair has now washed out and my hair is orange again from the Keratin. Well actually, not true - the roots are bright orange and the rest of the hair shaft is a dirty brown colour. I went in with evenly toned caramel coloured hair....



The cut Lisa gave me at the end was a complete hack. She literally got her scissors and just sliced through my hair - not using a proper cutting motion but using them like you'd use a machete. My hair looks like it's had a machete through it.



Oh and make sure you have a spare 7 hours for your appointment with Absolute Hair Design. Lisa fits as many people into her tiny room (she calls it a salon) as she can. She breached every possible COVID rule there was - no sign in; no distancing (we all sat about 50cm away from each other)



Did I mention the room that Lisa uses to cut hair in is in the same building as a brothel? And it absolutely stinks of chemicals. I felt like I couldn't breathe from all the fumes in the air. it's also on a main street with a big window so everyone driving past just stares at you sitting there with keratin treatment on your head for 7 hours.



Now, for the Groupon aspect. I have always been sceptical of deals when they seem to good to be true but Lisa makes a mockery of Groupon. Despite having paid Groupon and Lisa $145 for the Keratin voucher, Lisa will then charge you $250 for colour that you absolutely need because the Keratin has stripped all the colour out and another - is this a side effect of leaving it on to long - I'll have to ask Goldwell. Oh yes, and my hair is bobbed and neither thick nor thin but I was charged almost $100 more because of my length and thickness. A perusal of other reviews on this and Google reviews suggests she charges this exact amount to everyone regardless of whether they have long, thick hair or very little hair at all. Lisa insists you buy her products or the Keratin won't work. She also says she won't guarantee it. The products amount to over $100. I refused to do so and Lisa shouted at me and told me I couldn't expect it to work and she would not guarantee it. Is that in your fine print Lisa?



Lisa is a dishonest woman and rude to everyone around her.

This salon piles everyone in on top of each other and tries to overcharge no Covid awareness at all

Charged $150 for a wash and blow dry even though website says $35-75 plus took over an hour and a half because she overbooked. Hair fell out immediately as well

Bad service. Hairdresser was beyond rude. Rushed my hair. Charges $55 for a toner. Had hidden costs that aren't in terms and conditions that she made up on the day on top of the standard price. Would not adjust foils around crown of my head as per my request - stuck in her ways. Colour requested was honey/caramel, hair was white/yellow when finished. I asked for thin foils and I walked out looking like a tiger with thick stripes from the part line. Terrible terrible job. Can't say worse things about it. When i mentioned I was unhappy she took no responsibility and was not able to reach a resolution as per my requests.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

thank you Lis, last time u did a great job with my hair, all my family friends loved it back home and i couldn't wait to comeback to change the style of my hair only with u .. u r very professional
