Dolittles Pet Retreat

Had my pets stay at both locations and they always come back happy and look to be well cared for =)

Delays with dogs pickup, no communication to advise of delays, should of known then this was a mistake. Received no updates or pictures and concerns were high as there had been major storms and flooding. Tried numerous times to call, left voice mails, sent emails, sent FB messages, no replies to any! Ended up paying someone to go and collect our dogs and keep them safe until our return and, they both looked terrible. They have severe kennel cough my poor pup was coughing up fluid, they both had pink stained paws which is caused by lying, standing and sitting in water for a long period of time and the dogs having to constantly lick them dry. It was escalated to the Management of all the kennel locations and he was extremely apologetic. I do not blame the company, I blame this specific location. If you love your animals avoid the Kholo location!

If I could give this place no stars, that would be more accurate.

Drop off should have been my first and final red flag.

The teenager who took my babies didn't ask any questions, bother to give any customer service. We didn't hear any updates for 4 days, and after a number of calls, messages and emails we got 4 photos. All of which our two dogs looked as if they hadn't seen anyone in days.

On pickup they couldn't wait to get out of there. They now are resting due to kennel cough and on antibiotics.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!

Poor services provided at Ellen Grove. This was my dogs 4th time here and the second time he has now come home without being washed pri-

or to pick up. He was left wet and full of dirt and mud for 6+ days which has now led to a horrible skin infection that is spreading around his

body. The Retreat admitted that he wasn't washed upon pick up and was only towel dried. 2 vet visits later, lots of medication and more vet

visits to come, currently upto $600 out of pocket. They are not taking any responsibility to what has happened and dont believe they had a

duty of care for him. This matter will be taken further, so please reconsider before sending your beloved babies here. Its most definitely not

worth the pain and suffering to our animals.

let my cat out at Xmas, he was lost nearly 3 months. They didn't give a fig about it. Don't take your pets here if you want to get them back

Great place to board your Cat or Dog have had both of mine stay here great place, very nice people.
