A message to Majid H... We are disappointed that you have taken the time to write untruths regarding Eltham Conveyancing Services in a public forum. We have been Conveyancing in the local area for 30 years and have served thousands of clients with excellent service. We absolutely refute all that you have written. It was difficult dealing with you. We do not give legal advise on aboriginal cultural heritage sensitivity. Clients are advised to contact Land Victoria regarding matters such as these. As to the fee requested for perusal, this amount comes off your total invoice at settlement. We do not provide free Conveyancing services. When a contract or Vendor Statement is perused we point out any matters of interest. If there is nothing else, we can not make up information to add to your reply. You failed to mention that we spoke to you on many, many occasions on the telephone in an attempt to appraise you of your position with this potential purchase (free of charge mind you!). As to your comment about taking you to court for $150, please note it costs a lot more than this amount in court fees to attempt to recover such a minor amount. Furthermore, when we contacted you regarding you appointing another conveyancer, we asked you did they inform you of anything that we had not mentioned - your reply to us "NO".

It was the worse conveyancing consultation we ever had. First time when we called, She picked up the phone and telling us that we need to pay $150 to do conveyancing service. I knew that the other conveyancers charge nothing for reading contracts for the first three times. But I thought that is ok if we pay and get a better service. I emailed her our contract and she replied quickly with 2 to 3 lines telling us that the telephone and electricity are not connected to the property and the property is not in bush fire area. These two are the ones that are in bold in each contract and even a person knowing nothing about contract knows them. Since I read the contract before, I asked her few questions regarding 3 page special conditions, aboriginal cultural heritage sensitivity area and couple of unusual charges in the contract that she even didn't noticed! She didn't reply me back in two days while I already told her that we need to place an offer in two days. No email no phone call and nothing! So we had to urgently find another conveyancer and put forward our offer for the house. After three days she emailed me and said that she doesn't know about these things and she wants her money. We told that we didn't receive any service from you but she said that she will bring us to the court !!!!!! so we had to pay for no service !
Absolutely rubbish!!!
