Amazing service from friendly competent and efficient tradesmen.

The call I made for a quote was responded to quickly and I received the written quote within days unlike other companies I had contacted.

I felt very comfortable with all staff and the extra effort they went to explain things and take care of my house when installing and the cleaning up after was exceptional.

I wanted a price to install a split system a/c. Richard came out to inspect and quote. He gave a favourable price. It was accepted. The following Monday morning Josh arrived highly motivated and ready to do his bit. And it was a joy to watch this highly skilled tradesman go about his job. Josh was highly professional in executing his duties, purposeful, very efficient with his time and did an excellent job. In short, he knew what he was doing and he did a great job! The a/c runs well and looks great! I have a background in a professional trade and was surprised by the efficient skills on display as my a/c system was installed. I could see value for money. Consequently I can recommend Joe Cools, particularly Josh!

I don't generally review tradies and I've had a lot of late whilst building my house but I have to give a shout out. I engaged a few air con companies for quotes and I knew that due to the location of the units I needed piping and some tricky fittings due to the narrow siding to the house. I had manix and climate come out and they were about the same on price. Both said they'd have the the piping and unit done in about two weeks and then the electrician about a week after that. On the off chance I rang Joe Cools. The guy came out and the quote was about $400 less and they said within 10 days the lot. 7 days later they did the lot on the day in under 3 hours. No mess no fuss and charged a lot less on the extra by comparison. I appreciate a quality job at a good price.

I spent weeks researching and getting quotes for ducted air conditioning systems.
With each quote varying dramatically, resulting in me being confused i decided to go with the cheapest.
Three guys came in the morning (on time) and had the job completed by late arvo.

These blokes know what they are doing, they are punctual and purposeful in what they do. They provided us with an excellent air conditioning system that works beautifully. The work they did was way beyond what ever I expected.

Very disappointed and disillusioned by Joe Cools.

After having our old system removed and replaced by Joe Cools we were very impressed by their performance and lodged a favourable review of our experience which is still posted. At this point we were happy to recommend them to anyone and everyone. However, when we began using our new system we were dismayed when the house began to vibrate severely, widows were rattling and pictures began to rotate on their hooks. We contacted Richard from Joe Cools who told us that the problem was occurring because the main unit was wall mounted and it should be mounted at ground level on a concrete pad. We installed a concrete pad at our own cost and advised Richard. The same team who installed the system returned and transferred the unit from the wall to the ground. We were happy to hear that there would be no charge for the new foot mountings because the wall brackets were reclaimable. Then Richard contacted us to advise us that the charge for the labour was $250. We pointed out that the mistake was not our fault and surely a company with the experience and knowledge that they claim on their web site could be expected to avoid this error in the first place, and if a mistake was made, rectify it in good faith at no cost. Richard refused to negotiate and insisted on payment.
So it appears that this company has a policy of charging its customers for its own mistakes. We would strongly recommend that anyone contemplating doing business with this company allow a substantial margin in their quote for mistakes because it is obvious from our experience that they cant match their own advertised standards, and believe that their mistakes should be charged as extras to their clients.
As pensioners on a limited budget this experience has left us disappointed and disillusioned and we will not be recommending this company to anyone. We are disgusted and dismayed at the lack of concern and care evidenced by our treatment.
