We started a contract with Renovation and Design

The guy (Brad) would not turn up to any work and kept missing the date he promised to start

We paid a deposit - and he got some material

But then he cancelled the contract

We agreed with consumer affairs that he would pay back the deposit minus the materials he bought.

But he refuses to pay - and refuses to communicate to email and text messages.
