Had a older female service me and my mum and tell off my mum she couldn't touch the tray of eggs as they were different coloured so we didn't bother to purchase them than my mum want to buy chicken bags which the lady didn't even to bother to ask someone to help us load them in our boot and told us to drive and the front to count how many bags we had. Very disappointing service.

Traveled to Forrestdale Egg farm to buy chicken manure.
Entered their factory shop front and asked about buying bagged chicken manure. The chap (looked like the owner/manager) asked "how many bags?" I said I'm not sure as I want to get as many bags as I could in the wagon.
He pointed to the shack on the other side of the car park and said “the bags are in that shack”. I said ok, can you come over to see while I'm loading the wagon to count the bags I'm loading. He said "no that's not necessary", so I loaded all the bags into the wagon and then went back to the factory shop front to pay. He said how many bags did you get? I said 26 and he then said "no you didn't as I counted 27".
While I was loading the wagon this chap was peering through the factory shop front window to the other side of the car park counting the bags as I was loading them.
I said you'll need to count them then. So he proceeds to count the bags and after a few minutes of scrambling around the wagon was still counting but could not come to a conclusion as the bags were layered on top of each other.
By this stage I was getting annoyed so I proceed to empty some of the bags from the wagon until we could count all the bags. Total was 26 bags!!!
We then came back into the shop and he then got the other shop assistant to finish the transaction while he (cowardly) disappeared into the back of the factory.
My advice to this chap is, before you accuse your customer of stealing bags of chicken manure. You BETTER BE SURE!!
Also you shouldn't be spying on your customer loading bags in order to catch him/her out! Instead you should be helping him/her load the bags and count them together.
Your behaviour is absolutely disgraceful.
I will never return.

I dont even want to give you one star but have to unfortunately. Your livelihood is made from these animals and this is how you treat them? When we as family and friends and work colleagues saw this footage, I can honestly tell you that we were beyond horrified and to know now that the rspca thinks it is okay is even worse and spineless on their behalf. Obviously you are not a decent human being if you think, by any stretch of the imagination that this is okay. Non of the comments that you receive will make a difference to you I'm sure, being the type of person that can do this but I hope this hurts you where it obviously matters which is in the pocket. We also have chickens and do sell the eggs and though we are small, they are treated with respect, cared for and are true free range and you know what, when they get older and dont produce, they are still treated with the respect that they deserve as a living thing. The condition of those that you have dumped in the bin have obviously been mistreated a long time so shame on you and shame on the rspca.

Hi there, Still no email of apology receive. I guess your sales person is the owner of the business and that's the reason why I am not getting any respond. The old man is extremely grumpy and unwelcoming service and terrible facilities. I felt quite uncomfortable about being there with my family. I would NOT be recommending this farm to anyone as the old man only do business with certain type of people. This is a shame as there are people who are paying customer who being treated badly. Anyway, hope this feedback helps.

Hi, an email was sent to your company email [email protected] in regards of my visit to your farm and was treated badly and hostile by your counter person. Since then i have not receive any reply or call from your part. Just to refresh you, the email was sent on 17 May (Saturday):
When I first enter the shop, i clearly greet your counter person "good day" but unfortunately no reply from him.Next, with his histile body language, he asked rudely 'which one you want' when i was still looking which product suit me. At the same time, another customer came in (Aussie, male) and your conter person greet him happily. He return to me when i was inspecting the tray of egg. Again in rude manner, he asked me how many trays i want. I reply 2x trays and i notice 1 one the egg was cracked. I belief youe counter person notice it too but he decided not to counter offer me anything. He them moved towards the other customer and i decided to swap the craked egg with a new ones he shouted at me saying'Hey Hey Hey.you don't do that,you don't have right to handle the eggs'.No SIGN say that. Is this how your staff been train in customer service? Is your business based solely on Aussie customers and not others? you are running a busines and not running with your personal problems.I would like to have an explanation on this.Dont let a miserable staff ruin your business.
