I strongly advise others to avoid this engineer.



My experience was very disappointing — I told the engineer at the first meeting that I wanted to use metal frames. This engineer accepted a metal frame project and received payment, yet failed to disclose his lack of competence in that area until the project was already underway. So everything had to stop.



This reflects a serious lack of honesty, competence, and transparency, falling far short of the standards expected under the Professional Engineers Act.



The engineer displayed poor technical ability and struggled with basic tasks that most qualified professionals handle with ease.



Based on my experience, I would not recommend this engineer for any structural or metal frame work. I have also reported this matter to the relevant engineering authority for review.

I’d like to clarify the situation:



The client asked me to redesign a structural beam urgently and requested I complete it within 30 minutes. I explained this was not feasible for safe and compliant engineering work.



After leaving this review, the same client later expanded his comments on Google, stating that another designer advised him to “weight-test the structure after it’s built.” As a licensed engineer, I must stress that this is not compliant with Australian building codes.

Structural integrity must be designed, certified, and approved before construction begins.



I also received an email from the client offering to remove his review in exchange for a refund — I have kept this as written evidence. While I respect fair criticism, I do not respond to refund demands tied to negative reviews.



I stand by my professional judgment and remain committed to safety, compliance, and integrity in my work.

I enaged Authur to design the engineering on a beam and frame structure for a store. He was telling me I had to do all this complex and expesive things, when I protested he said thats how it is. No help, terrible problem solving skills. I then enaged Abbot Designs and they were great, they came up with safe and practical solutions that will ensure we are able to do what we needed cost effectivly. AVOID THIS GUY.
