Savage XRay & MRI

can't trust regarding sending result to the doctor.very dissapointed.

No recommended. Seek an alternative!

We were recommended by doctor friend to go to Savage xray. It just seems they care about making money, processing as many people as possible and lack of attention to patient need. I was seeking a follow-up MRI, to check if brain scan had changed in 3 years as Neurological symptoms had continued Arranged scan via email. At least 50% of time Savage admin did not reply until a follow-up email or two. When we spoke by phone just prior to consultation staff were efficient though. At consultation, we reminded staff that we needed a comparison with previous MRI scan. They replied or course making one feel like we were dumb even confirming. Scans were done quickly and efficiently. But few days later, when we were advised of the results by my GP, we found they had not compared the previous scan. Therefore the Savage xray scan was wasted. I tried to follow-up with Savage xray, but they did not reply to emails, even ones sent directly to Dr Savage. All written politely. We live in Hanoi and had to wait until we were next in in Australia, 6 months later.

Recommend you seek another alternative. Seems this practice is just about pushing patients through and collecting money, including medicare subsidised/bulk billed scans. No wonder federal government recently reviewed what its paying for with services like this out there. All about making money! Kerrching!

Waited over 1 hour our appoitment was for 10.30 lots of people where walking in and out after us. Still by 11.30am we had not been seen. Terrable place not recommended. No concediration that we had a screaming baby.

I had my 20 weeek scan here. They were so kind and lovely and even helped me reschedule when i forgot my referral at home. They made room in their full day for my mistake and followed up with one of the best moments of my life. Seeing my baby on screen and even seeing him in 3D! They took great care in getting the nuchal scan completed with accuracy and even had fun with me and my partner. They bulk billed and sent me home with a disc and print outs of the can for free including the 3D shots. It was amazing.
