Holdfast Medical Centre

I have visited other medical centre's in the past and Holdfast Medical Centre is the one I come back to.
The Doctors are always helpful and pleasant and very thorough with their examinations and explain everything very clearly.
Also, having a nurse on hand at the Medical Centre is fantastic for other things that arise medically that you may not require the doctor, even if you do see the nurse the doctor likes just to check with things to, which is very thorough.
My daughter has even found the Female Doctors at the Medical Centre very helpful and understanding.
Reception and Admin staff are welcoming and friendly and are always there to answer any questions.

So they don't accept new patients at this centre...acknowledged, Glenelg can be busy. However, after making an appointment over 4 weeks in advance so that we are no longer "new" patients, we attend, pay and fill out numerous forms and applications to have all of our records transferred to the practice. The next time a family member becomes ill we call to make an appointment, the receptionist asks us if we have been to the practice before, we tell her yes we have to ensure future appointment availability. She then advises we cannot get in...not ever?? No option for an appointment time...ever? She will not accept us at all, with no explanation. Is the practice closing? Do doctors actually work there? What a joke.
