NEVER LEAVE YOUR CAT THERE! HORRIBLE PLACE!

The worst place for cats (that's my experience) in the entire Brisbane area. Our beautiful, fun loving, gentle cat returned from The Links after only 3 nights a different - wild animal! Ever since he's scared of everything and everybody, the slightest sound makes him jump. If it was possible in Australia I would sue them to the ground! DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR CAT in this disgusting, dirty place with people who don't even like animals. P.S. We had flights in a few hours so we had no choice, if I only could read more reviews like that my cat would NOT SUFFER at their hands, we just would never go there! BEWARE!!!!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE

CRUELTY! This was the worst establishment I have ever seen, I asked if I booked my puppy in for one day of day care I asked when I dropped him off if I could have a look around I was told no they are too busy, I notified the staff member Barbara that we had just moved from Melbourne to Brisbane and that my dog wasn't use to the heat and to ensure he had lots of water and wet his ears when they can. I phoned during the day to see how he was settling in

and if he was at all distressed the land line diverted to a Barbara's phone who was driving I was told he is fine, and that he should receive play time, She was very short and rude.

When I went to pick him up as soon as I got out of the car I could hear him yelping not a boredom or separating bark is was complete distress and my dog is not a barker at all - he couldn't see me or hear my car pull up I mentioned this to the staff and she said its okay its just because he knows your here. I asked Barbara if I could see where he was she ignored my question twice and demanded payment I said I would really like to see where he has been today (39 degree day) the Barbara became verbally abusive as I accidentally went in the wrong door when I thought she was taking me to see him.

I was then shown where he was which was DISGUSTING, there was no risen bed, sheets or anything for him to lay on, just a hot concrete slab in a pen that was FAR to small for a 29 Kilo great dane as I couldn't see his water bowl I asked if he had water to then I was verbally abused by Barbara who shouted are you accusing us of animal cruelty?

I said I just cant see his water I looked closer to see the only water he had was in a metal bucked which had about 6 cm of water left which I can imagine would have been boiling hot. He was completely distressed, salivating from the mouth and red eyes due to stress when we left the reception area I found a tap and turned it on to wet his head and cool him down, the staff stormed out of the office and said "are you right" I wish I followed my gut as I could tell when I dropped him off that this is just a money making business and they are not animal lovers, neither staff greeted the dog with a smile and looked absolutely miserable to be there.

I pulled over after driving for 3 minutes as he was not calming down, he went to the toilet 3 times, I can say for certain that he was not let out of his pen once for any play time and held onto his bladder and bowels all day.

These conditions are not acceptable and I will be reporting you to animal welfare.

Greatest results ever I took my Chow to Shaun at Links and couldn't be happier after been told by a vet that he wouldn't have a problem putting my chow down as he was aggressive.Shaun turned him around through trust and the results are amazing,he is still a Chow and we are aware of how he reacts and nip it in the bud I would recommend Links to anyone with issues with there pets which is usually as humans spoiling our baby's and we need some training.I have a high respect for this man as close to a dog whisperer you will get cheers Janet Laird
