Jan Spate Animal Supplies

We've been taking our pets, and rescued wildlife, to Jan Spate for about twenty years. She is the best there is. Without a doubt she saved our border collie's life when he was run over by a car and seriously injured at the age of four months -- he's now twelve. She made it clear before operating that she wasn't a surgeon; we made it clear we wanted her to go ahead. Jan is no-nonsense, efficient, and a healing force for all creatures without fear or prejudice. She's also extremely busy, sometimes put-upon unreasonably (by humans), and seriously dedicated to her practice: quite an extraordinary human being -- wish there were more like her (she should be nominated for an OBE but she probably wouldn't accept it).

Jan is a fantastic vet, she may be a bit unorthodox but she cares more about the animals than money, something I cannot say about most other vets, Jan has been a godsend many times with my dogs I cannot praise her enough

My dog had a paralysis tick and ended up losing movement in all four legs. Jan was awesome. She removed the tick and gave the appropriate medicine and advice. She was very thorougher and knew what she was talking about.

Horrible service

Worst vet in act... We had a last minute change of removal dates with the army and Jan Spate Vets was the only vet i could get into last minute... I rang to discuss my visit and they had complete lack of communication told me one thing had to make 2 trips across town because they changed their minds!!

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. They were extremely rude!!!!!
