Priority Medical Centre

My wife had an appointment with Dr Md Akhtar Hossain today to get a professional authority statement form completed, which was required by her university. She had already explained this when booking the appointment and confirmed it again with the receptionist and nurse on arrival.



Her appointment was scheduled for 7:45 pm, but she was finally seen at 9:15 pm. We understand clinics can get busy, but there doesn’t seem to be much value in booking ahead if patients still have to wait an hour and a half.



When my wife was finally seen, the experience was quite disappointing. As soon as the doctor saw the form in her hand, he became dismissive and repeatedly said that he does not like filling such forms and doesn’t deal with “non-medical issues.” He went on to mention that he had “real patients with real health problems” and that she was wasting his time. He did not read the form, did not listen to her explanation, and spoke to her in a very rude and frustrated manner.



We completely understand that doctors work long hours and may feel tired, but professionalism and basic courtesy should still be maintained. If he did not wish to complete the form, he could have communicated that politely instead of being abrupt and disrespectful especially considering we paid the full consultation fee and cooperated throughout.



Overall, my wife had a poor experience with Dr Akhtar, particularly in relation to non-medical administrative matters. We would not recommend seeing him if you require assistance with documentation or forms, as empathy and communication were noticeably lacking in this situation.

I have been a loyal patient at Priority Medical for the past two years, with my entire family visiting the clinic regularly. In that time, I have personally visited at least 50 times for various treatments. Dr. Islam is by far the best doctor I have ever met—his care and professionalism are truly outstanding.



However, today I had the worst booking experience ever. I called to reschedule an appointment and spoke with a receptionist named Mohammed (though I’m not sure if that was his real name). His attitude was shockingly rude—he snapped at me and dismissively said he didn’t have time for this. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable, especially at a medical facility.



After years of loyalty, this experience has left me deeply disappointed. No matter how great the doctors are, I cannot continue visiting a clinic that treats its patients this way. @Priority Medical, you have lost a loyal patient.

I am glad that I was able to get with nurse Isabella again. She is a great nurse and got the immunisation again. She is really quick, sweet and empathetic Nurse. Shout out to @Isabella again.

Front reception staff is very rude. You need to wait for couple of hours with appointment. Only jp service is good rather than that it’s worst medical centre.

Dr Omer Muhammad is very friendly, respectful and able doctor and he treat a patient with full attention and listen all his problems very carefully and simply he is one of my favourite ...

There's really no point to the appointment system because the doctors are rarely on time. Today, I arrived at 9:25 for my 9:30 appointment. Was told thr Doctor had not arrived yet but i was her first patient. Waited until 10am and still heard nothing so i checked with reception staff who told me they tried to call the Dr 3 times but no answer. I asked to see another Dr so they said they'll out me down for the next available Dr as well and Ille the first available Dr. At 9:50am, i checked again with reception, and they was surprised that I was still not in, telling me the Dr has arrived and is setting up her room and should be 5 minutes. I went in for a 5 minute consultation after waiting 1 hour. Last Saturday, i waited 45 minutes for a 5 minute consultation as well, eventhough I had arrived 5 minutes before my appointment.

Such bad service

They give me the appointment near 4 pm and I was waiting for more than one hour even than I was not able to meet the doctor. And the receptionists give more importance to phone than the person on the counter she picked up 5 calls but didnt served me
