We level twice and when levelling we start at the lowest point of the house and gradually work our way back, 5-10mm at a time, to the highest point of the house. This technique ensures minimal cracking of plaster and walls inside the property. We also set up our jacks in the correct way which is absolutely crucial to ensure minimal damage to the property.

Will there be damage caused to my house when it is reblocked?
It is usually inevitable that there will be some cracking of plaster when the house is reset to its normal level. However, our releveling techniques ensures minimal damage to your house. Call us to find out what we do differently, which minimises damage.
How long does it take to restump or reblock a house?
Mostly around 5-6 days.
How do I know if my house needs restumping?
The most obvious sign is if your floors are sloping. Other signs include a bounce in the floor, doors not opening and closing properly, windows creaking, cracks in brickwork, cracks in plaster, and rotting foundations.
Will I need to move out when you are working?
Usually not. If floorboards need to be removed from the house then you will need to move out.

Very disappointed with service. Extremely rude and that was coming from the boss peter himself. Rang and asked for a quote. He offered to come out yesterday morning then re scheduled on me saying he has been delayed.
I clearly explained i had a lunch commitment & we agreed for him to come out at 1.30pm after lunch
Peter decides to come 15minutes earlier and waits until 1.27pm and leaves. I arrived 1 minute after on time just after he left .
I put that aside & was still willing to give him the opportinity but on ringing him today he virtually abused me for not being there yesterday making out as though i was at fault. Wouldnt let me speak and was arrogant and rude over the phone.
Understandably he may be stressed and have a lot on his agenda but that is NO reason to speak to anyone like that
To think i was going to recommend him to 2 other people!!!! Definitely not
He may be good at his work but he definitely needs to be calm down and be polite

Peter was fantastic. A very professional approach to restumping my house and the quality of job done was second to none. Not only is the house now level, but he also adjusted floor board and doors where needed at no additional charge. There were a number of questions in relation tochimneysand verandahs which were discussed and resolved on the phone and in person promptly.
I would highly recommend Assurance restumping for any future work.
