My husband and I have been tenants of a unit at Adelaide Street in South Hobart managed by Edwards Windsor since the past 11 months and we couldn't be happier.
Nicole Maass has been our property manager and she has been wonderful and so helpful throughout. She has been just a phone call away. No matter what the problem is Nicole Maass is always ready to help. She has always been prompt in dealing with all issues and has done regular follow ups so as to ensure that everything goes smoothly. She has been a thorough professional. We just renewed our lease for another year and we are very happy with the services that we have been given by Nicole and Edwards Windsor.
We are very satisfied with Nicole's and Edwards Windsor's services and would highly recommend them for all your buying, selling, renting or leasing purposes.

I was a tenant at a property managed by Edwards Windsor. My housemates and I had a number of issues with them. When I was finally approved as a tenant, the real estate agent informed my housemate rather than me. They then told me that I needed to pay the bond, before even telling me that my application had been approved. A simple courtesy call or email to tell me I had been approved would have sufficed.
They then asked us a few months before a new lease whether we intended to stay or not. When we all informed them that we intended to stay they increased the rent by almost 10% for the next lease. They did not inform us of this. We simply found out when we got the new lease papers. There was no apparent reason for this increase in rent, as the property was very poorly maintained. Maintenance was sporadic, often inadequate and had to be followed up on many times. In the kitchen the ground could be seen through the floorboards.
After the rent increase they made an error in the amount of rent to be direct debited from my bank account, debiting more money than we agreed upon. When I called them they told me that direct debit was the only way that they would accept rent to be paid. This caused distress for me as I was extremely poor at the time.
My housemates also had issues with slack and inconsistent notification of bills.
I am now in the process of attempting to get my bond back. They have told me that my bond will be processed when the owner approves the new housemate. However, they refuse to give me a time frame on when this will happen. You'd think they could give the owner a set date to have their decision by, but apparently this is beyond their abilities. They certainly make it obvious who their priority is. Do not rent with Edwards Windsor. Notice the discrepancy in reviews here between owners and tenants ...

Couldn't be happier with the service we received by Martin and the Edward Windsor team when selling our house. His professionalism and understanding throughout the entire process was second to none. Martin guided us through the entire sale and was always available for calls/msg's / emails producing a sale much higher than what we expected. Martin took the stress and confusion (for first time sellers) away for which we are extremely greatful.

We have been tenants of Edwards Windsor for 4 weeks now and have had a terrible start to our tenancy. We are still waiting for our half functioning stove to be repaired, it took 3 weeks to get off the shelf blinds installed, the house wasn't clean and possums were living inside the house !
Their handling of all these issues has been pathetic and their communications with us totally slack.
