My experience with Werribee Hyundai has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I paid a $1,000 deposit and realised soon after that the purchase wasn’t financially right for my family. I cancelled within the cooling-off period, but instead of understanding, I received pressure, repeated phone calls, and was told I “couldn’t withdraw.”
The dealership and specifically salesman "Steve" admitted the original contract was incorrect and sent me an updated one — which I never signed, yet still insisted I had to lose 2% of the purchase price. Being told “that’s final” over a contract I never agreed to was incredibly upsetting and unprofessional.
I felt pushed, ignored, and treated unfairly, to the point where I had to escalate the matter with my bank and Consumer Affairs Victoria just to try to get my own money back.
Very disappointing service, I would strongly caution others before purchasing from this dealership.

This dealership is an absolute disgrace. I put down a deposit to reserve a vehicle, and the moment I decided not to proceed, they flat-out refused to return my money. No professionalism, no integrity, no respect for customers — just endless excuses and delays.
Dealing with the sales rep, the general manager, and the rest of the team was nothing short of infuriating. They all had the same dismissive attitude, and it was clear they had no interest in doing the right thing.
To everyone reading this and all my friends — do yourself a favour and stay as far away from Hyundai Werribee as possible. If you step inside that showroom, you risk losing your money, wasting your time, and ending up in a battle with Consumer Affairs or your lawyer just to get justice.
I’ve bought cars before and never seen anything like this. This place should serve as a warning to the whole community. Avoid at all costs.

Had the most pathetic experience dealing with Werribee Hyundai. Highly unprofessional staff, who would not hesitate to waste your time to make money. After agreeing to a price over the phone, they made me drive over an hour and started negotiating again. Unbelievable attitude and overly priced cars. Please stay away for your own sake.

These people are your best friends and will make all sorts of promises to make you sign a contract.
And once you sign they will not honer anything that is not written on paper
So MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEM WRITE ALL THE PROMISES THEY MAKE.
they had said all the scratchs have been fixed bla bla , When we went to pick up the car, they didnt fix any scratches and new ones had occurred. But they just said nothing was written in contract. This is their tactic, the original staff that made false promises are not in that day and some rude manager comes and says Nope nothing in written contract and cant cancel the deal.
IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE ARROGANT PPL, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEM WRITE ALL DOWN, COULD SAVE U THOUSANDS

They agreed to have my used car ready to be picked up within a 2 week timeframe of leaving deposit.
At 2 weeks mark after sale when asked about the car, they said it could take significantly longer.
When I asked for my deposit back in good faith Luke the manager refused and suggested I get a lawyer, despite failing to deliver the car in the agreed upon timeframe.
This is the type of behaviour that causes consumers to not trust salespeople within the auto industry.
Not a good look for Hopper Motor Group.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THIS JUST DO NOT USE JAYSON OR JUST PICK A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP!!
I brought a Tucson N Line from Jayson, when I went into the dealership to look at the cars Jayson was more than happy to assist off the bat. I should have known he was a typical sales guy when he wanted nothing to do with me and only wanted to talk to my partner about his Ford, even though I was the one purchasing the car. I did not make any deal on my first visit as I wanted to think about my purchase. A few days later I went back and Jayson saw us coming and couldn't get out to the car yard soon enough. When I decided to get the car all he wanted to do was make a sale and shoot me off to the next person at the dealership. I went in yesterday to pick up my new car and JAYSON did not even come over to congratulate me, he acted like he didn't know who I was, pretty disgusting. Instead, lovely Michelle help me and handed me a handwritten card from him that he couldn't even hand me himself. I wasn't even given a full tank of petrol; I drove away with 250km in the tank. I was told JAYSON should have organised that for me, well JAYSON only cares about his commission and customer service does not exist. JAYSON is a TERRIBLE salesman and I just hope someone sees this and does not make the same mistake I did; he doesn't deserve the commission.

My worst experience recently at Hyundai Werribee while , we are searching for new car for my wife . Sales floor manager came to us and provided some details about a car . When we said that we will let you know in day or two , he started get angry and complaining that he spent all this time with us explaining about the car . We had to make a call under this pressure and paid deposit $2000 . We realised on the same day after researching that it’s not right car and I have sent an email before next business day . Unfortunately, he didn’t provided full refund even though , he forced us to make the decision on the same day . I would never buy any car from this dealership again and warned other people to aware of this dealership salesperson before
