What are your fees?
Individuals - $100, Couples - $120, Families - $140
Do couples see you separately or together?
It's best to see a couple together in the first session. However, if your partner is unable or unwilling to attend, then I can see you on your own to look at various strategies. I can talk to your partner for ten minutes on the phone so he/she can sound me out. Sometimes I will split the hour up and see each partner separately. Each couple is different and I adjust my therapy accordingly. I am happy to talk about this with you over the phone.
Do you think my child needs counselling?
The best way for me to assess this is for me to have a session with both parents initially and then have Mum and/or Dad bring the child in for an assessment in the second session. I can offer therapy to children aged 7 yrs and over. I may also do family therapy with Mum, Dad and the kids together in the room. Usually this only takes one or two sessions to make significant improvements.
