Have to share this from Henry & Rose cafe, Keith, SA.



Called in for lunch whilst travelling for work. No obvious vegan option apart from the obligatory salad. I then spot a chicken burger on brioche with sweet potatoe fries - vegan option available. The conversation when ordering went like this;



Me: hey I would like the chicken burger and sweet potato fries but the vegan option please.

H&S: okay

Me: so is this a vegan patty?

H&S: no, we just remove the chicken

Me: so what about the cheese?

H&S: we remove that too

Me: And the coleslaw dressing?

H&S: yes we remove that.

Me: So the vegan alternative is a bun and fries?

H&S: Well yes.
