Southern Golf Club

Southern is a long, challenging private course on land that is gently undulating. It has a fantastic club house paid for with millions in a cheap loan provided by a kind member. It has distinctive style with prominent bunkers standing up out of the fairways - like you find at Metropolitan or Kingston Heath. After a lot of rain it stays dry because it has well maintained fairways and money has been spent of proper drainage. If you are considering this course you might also consider Keysborough, Woodlands, Victoria, Royal Melbourne or Cheltenham (which is semi-private).
