This guy was a nightmare to deal with and has left us with hefty repair bills. Avoid at all costs.

Top bloke knows his stuff , helped me out in doing a repair .

I was very disappointed with the service and subsequent price. Ian was coming 5 times!!! to fix two issues. My tenants were absolutely not happy. There was an issue with a tripping circuit. First day he couldn’t do anything because of there is not too much roof space and weather wasn’t good. Next day he came and repaired roof leak. That’s all cool, but the price is $319. That’s a lot!

After that tenants found that pool pump is not working, because of the power point. This thing he was fixing 4 times. First time he called me and suggested to install a new power point as it’s easier than try to dig out the cable. I asked for the price, but didn’t get anything except the phrase that my realestate agent always uses him. Ok, but please take photos.. I thought it shouldn’t be too expensive.. I didn’t know the previous cost as the second case happened right after the first. So I said Ok. Do it.

Then he came next day, because tenants complained that the power point didn’t work. He explained that “there was no earth at the newly installed power point.” why didn’t you check it?

Next day I got a message from tenants again. He returned back and explained that “Cable have dislodged”.

How is that possible for a newly installed power point by a professional electrician???



After all of that I got a bill for $574.20 as total and no photos.



I tried to call/sent a couple of messages to ask for a breakdown, just to understand what I’m going to pay for.

He tried to call me a month later asking why I was not paying and I explained that I need some explanations from him and price breakdown. He sent it to me and I was absolutely surprised that I paid $319 for roof leak repair and $255.20 for unprofessional electrician work.



He also threaten me that if I don’t pay now he will increase the bill as he forgot to charge one day.



The last thing he did was he made an appointment at the house in the following manner:

“Meet me tomorrow on site at 1700 No excuses I want this sorted. I read part of your short story. You gave me the go ahead. And the job could not be left in the dangerous situation that the faults presented.

 Cu tomorrow at 1700”



I didn’t want to disturb the tenants as they are really good ones. So, I paid. After that, he promised to send me explanations with photos… I’m still waiting for them.



I have never seen more rude and arrogant guy who also charges lots of money for nothing.



I’ve checked also the first time my agent used him. He repaired dimmer and the cost was $192.5.

I was pretty sure that he replaced it, but no.. that was just a repair.
