Refused to refund

Several years ago, 'The Blinds Gallery' had installed new window coverings throughout my entire house, as well as an outdoor roller blind. At a recent visit I showed them some photographs of damage to the roller blind's skin, and after reviewing the images, they assured me that the issue could be fixed. They arranged for a repairer to come to my home to address the problem, requesting an upfront payment of $230, which included an $80 call-out fee and a $150 charge for labour.



Upon inspection, the repairer determined that, unfortunately, the damage to the roller blind could not be repaired as originally thought. When I contacted The Blinds Gallery asking to refund the $150 labor charge since no repair work had been done, they refused to reimburse the money.



Ultimately, we paid $230 without any resolution to the issue at hand. I will share this costly and unsatisfactory experience with my friends advising them to avoid shopping at ‘The Blinds Gallery’.

Disappointed after 8 months not provided what was requested - now I have to ask for a refund

Unfortunately I chose Blinds Gallery to do a custom curtain in a room where the window is not central, and requested to simply extend the curtain on one side to give appearance of more centered. I chose them as I wanted to support a WA business. This has been a terrible mistake. I ordered the curtain 25th January 2022 and it is now the end of August I still do not have the product I requested. I have had installers out to my property on 3 occasions. After awaiting 4 months, it turns out they made a mistake in the fabrication of the rail and curtain, and have since failed to rectify this since I requested on the 17 June. I understand it is a difficult situation for a business, however they refuse to ask basic questions repeatedly. After now 8 months and over 2 months requesting rectification I am now having to ask for a refund. I will post the outcome of this request. Please do not risk your time, energy on this business. They will not look after you. I had friends use Spotlight for custom curtains and they got just as high quality product, for less money. Installed with no problem exactly as they asked.

Worst service ever!!!

They want full payment before the blinds are even installed.... I know why... if you have an issue which we did, they don't want to know about it!!! I would never recommend the Blinds Gallery to anyone....worst service ever.

Very good service and installation

From the quote to install, The Blinds Gallery were very good.

Even when an issue arose Danielle our contact corrected it promptly, we love our outdoor blinds.

I will not use again

I have been disappointed with my end result being delayed again due to an incorrect order which has resulted in a great inconvenience and extra cost.

A temporary solution would have been better than having an unusable bedroom for 3 weeks but this was not even a consideration to them whatsoever.

My next projects for blinds i will definitely not be using them

Poor service

So far more than 5 months since I paid intial payment and will never call you and blam everything on COVID19. The worst business dealing I have encountered.

We had a great experience with The Blinds Gallery. The Sales Reps were not pushy at all . We got a number of competitor quotes and felt pressured to sign on the spot with the offer of specials and discounts. The Blinds Gallery rep not only gave us a good price without the sell but genuine advice and recommendations on what we could do. We love our new roller blinds and could not be happier and would recommend The Blinds Gallery hands down.
