Total solution

I got an overseas laptop that wasn't turning on about 90% of the time, RMA'd it with Asus and dropped it off here. They had replacement parts ordered and repaired the laptop. No issues with the repair job, they even put the little plastic screw covers back in!



My only regret was not taking it in sooner for the RMA.

Took my ASUS notebook for repair under warranty. They installed a Chinese language pack. They didn't uninstall it, meaning every word was in Chinese and import computer management systems (e.g. BIOS, registries) were also in Chinese. I had to take the Notebook to another company. They said the only way to remove all the Chinese was to "wipe the clean" of all installed programs and files/folders and reinstall everything. What a waste of time and money and the inconvenience of not having a computer.

They never answer the telephone. The only way to get things done is confront them in their tiny over crowded shop.

I don't know why ASUS would bother appointing Total Solutions as their only service agent in Victotia. These guys are amateurs at best.

WARNING!! Scam artists! My computer was under warranty, until Total Solutions damaged it and attempted to charge me over $700 to fix their incurred damages (which iv now learnt are not even repairable) lied about the damagers and threatened to dispose of it without my permission! The manager was hard to get in touch with, would not admit fault, and refused to provide any information including his name! DO NOT TRUST

My laptop was sent here under warranty. Total Solution had it back to me a week after they received it. No data loss and it works exactly the same as it did before.
