I highly recommend Troy and Ecoworks. Troy took on a challenging job with us which other operators had refused saying it was too risky, too complicated and likely to cost more than our budget allowed. An old 35m long core filled retaining wall built dangerously close to the house we bought had collapsed leaving an exposed bank. We needed the wall extracted out safely, the bank cut back a further 2m, the slope scraped back to finish with a batter, eliminating the need for a retaining wall. The excess soil needed to be moved to the front of our sloping block to level out a few areas and to create a level area for a large vegetable garden. To achieve this, Troy had to create a safe way for the excavator and front loader to access the slope near the side of the house, while working in a small space under an overhead power line our budget didn't allow us to have temporarily disconnected and reconnected. After reviewing the job, Troy met with us a few times to strategise a way forward and gave us a few options for achieving what we wanted within our budget. Working with Troy felt like we were working with a trusted friend. Troy communicated really well with us during the work, reassured us when the rain set in and disrupted progress and made things muddy. He was smart with the use of the machinery to keep progressing, while keeping costs to a minimum. We were really impressed with his positive, polite and unfazed attitude, even when the weather made things complicated and ongoing. In the end everything we planned was achieved and 2K under our budget. Troy even cleared a few areas for us on top if it all, stockpiling rocks he dug up for landscaping. we were really impressed with his old school ethic and neighbourly attitude. We can't recommend him highly enough.
