Jim is the kind of guy you can ring at 5 o’clock on a Friday just as he’s pouring his first weekend beer with an electrical emergency, and he jumps straight in the car and rushes to help you. I know this because it’s exactly what happened this afternoon. His work is excellent and done with good cheer. We are so grateful.

We have used Jim Douglas electrical for several years now. He is just so helpful and competent. Previously he came out on New Years day when our mains switch had burnt out. He fixed it immediately and for an extremely fair price. He always has safety as a first concern and I would be very comfortable recommending him. On this occasion we had no hot water. He diagnosed that it was a faulty off peak switch and saved us money by notifying Endeavour energy as he said it was up to them to fix it. No charge to us. After the recent floods, when we had severe issues he came out and was so caring and professional. Really after these experiences I would always call Jim first.

When asking him out for a quote for unfinished work, he reported unfinished work to endeavour energy and then inspectors came out and defected work, so I then had added stress to try to get electrical job done on a time frame.
