Gave a quote, then as he came around, tried to tell me that the taps to switch off the water sometime break and may require replacing. I said, well then why don't you turn the main water tap outside off. He stumbled with his words then told me to do that. I asked him to change the hoses of the taps and he said that he couldn't get the hoses of the taps and I now need new taps, to which he over charged me for. I wasn't in a position to argue. Do yourself a favour, find someone else.

Misleading on prices. Charges more once job has commenced.

Job was to change a number of flexi hoses to mixer taps. Julian dismantled all 4 mixers and then showed me that he could not undo the hoses by hand and said all the mixers needed to be replaced at $150 per tap. Not being a plumber, I trusted him. After the job was done, another plumber was amused that he didn't use pliers to remove the hoses.i also found that the new mixers cost him half the price he charged me. Julian was unwilling to come back to correct his error of attaching the wrong hoses,(got and cold), to a mixer. He then insist that I pay him the next day otherwise he will come over the next day to collect payment. I had to point out to him that his invoice gave me a week to pay.

Julian was down-to earth, explained the problem, fixed a broken pipe and two dripping taps in just over half an hour! No price gouging. Highly recommended.
