RMIT was for many years the poor cousin to Melbourne Uni and Monash Uni but it has found a strong identity over the past 10 years as tens of thousands of overseas students have flocked to the live and study in the centre of Melbourne. The University has made bold statements with the stunning new buildings in Swanston St. RMIT is particularly strong in Maths and Computer Science and developed a lot of the technology that led the way for companies such as Google. I studies there for two years and work with recent graduates.
