Terrible and unpleasant ambience. Will not recommend this place to anyone, esp, the one in victoria market. When I went there I saw this glass window and door and the other door facing the market which is left open. There is no privacy at all. When I walked in I saw this girl massaging someone while her boyfriend is sitting there watching them. She seemed like she doesn't know what she was doing. I was there on time and he asked me to come back after half an hour. I asked him if I can sit there and he says, no you have to go outside and come back later. It was rainy heavily
outside. I went outside and had a second thought and I ended up going home without getting the massage done after paying for it. Avoid this place, or if you want to waste your time and money go for it.

WOEFUL!! I gave this masseur 1 star only because there is no facility to give none.Was in the Frankston area needing a foot massage and saw this ok looking shop offering discount massages. Inside it was cold and dingy and only one staff member working. He was a grubby looking man who spoke poor English and didnt seem to be able to understand me. I booked a 30 minute foot massage and was shown to a meagre little room with no music or dim lighting. The massage table had one towel on it and one folded up on the end of the table. I didnt feel comfortable but continued on. I lay on my back on the table while he started on my feet. What followed is hard to describe. My feet were pummeled. Punching, pinching, squeezing were his techniques and at one stage i was in so much pain I asked him to stop. I would bet my last dollar this man had no training in massage.After 20 minutes of this torture I decided to stop. When I payed my account ($25) he couldnt change a $50 note so was forced to use a credit card.
The only reason I didnt report this is that I dont know who to report him to.

DO NOT GET A MASSAGE HERE
Hi There, I've never written a review before but this was the worst massage I have ever had. I booked in for a 1 hour deep tissue massage as my muscles were aching from my PT session a day prior. Firstly they wanted me to lie on a bed in the shop window, I asked for a more private bed. A girl came in (she looked 15) she had no massage experience at all.
After about 10 minutes I couldnt deal with it so I asked for another member of staff to take over, he was slightly better. The bed was so uncomfortable, there was no relaxing music, all I could hear was a loud fan breezing through the curtain. I lay there for 1 hour while he attempted to give me a deep tissue, he didnt actually get into any of my muscle tissue and when he did go firm it wasnt in the right areas. I cant believe I actually lay through this for 1 hour. I am really disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I purchased 2 massage vouchers as a gift to use with my mother and ended up feeling embarrassed!
When we arrived at Shen in Frankston we were greeted by two staff members, neither spoke English very well, after some confusion with the booking we were ushered to separate cubicles and given no further instruction.
The setting was drab and void of any candles or tranquil decoration as portrayed by the images on Scoopon, it was nothing more than a dingy room.
Once the massage began there was no use of "aromatic oils" instead a cheap bottle of baby oil. During my massage my masseuse had to stop and leave twice as there were no other staff to man the counter. On both occasions the customers were unimpressed as they had made bookings to have their massages during the time allocated for our massages, they had over booked and to make matters worse they did not seem to care as there were no apologies just rudeness. I could hear all this, as well as what was going on in the other massage room, as the walls were paper thin, you could hear EVERYTHING!
I prefer not to talk during a massage and in my experience at a day spa you are asked about this, not at Shen. My masseuse said called me fat and asked me what job I did. I replied saying I had recently had a baby and I was not working as I was staying home to look after my newborn son (who has special needs) and 2 year old daughter. His response was "Not good, you need to work, you fat, you lazy". It is not this mans business what I do with my time nor was his opinion sought. This made me upset and I could not wait to leave.
Once my massage was done I then waited around 10 minutes for my mother's to finish, which for some reason went for longer than mine despite hers being void from interruptions.
I had really been looking forward to this experience, instead I came out upset and disappointed, which was better than my mother faired as she was barely able to move for a week and suffered bruising.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - for all the reasons listed by others . I drive all the way to Frankston to this horrendous dirty shop and told by an equally dirty looking middle aged grumpy man that he made booking error . So annoyed I felt like writing in his poorly written sign outside to tell everyone to stay away - rudest weasel of a man I have ever met . Refund has been claimed from Living social - thank god

I am very disappointed with humiliating experience we received at this place on Saturday with Frankston Shen Chinese massage Center . I had made this appointment on Wednesday(12.11.14) for Saturday (15.11.14) at 11 am and 12 pm . The appointment was confirmed by the shop personnel. We were very exited and looking forward to the massage appointment and put my kids to casual child care spending extra money for child care on Saturday. We reached sharp at 11am at the place. The shop guy looked at us amused and the scoopon print out in my hand. He spoke extremely rude and said the appointment needs to be changed to Sunday or Monday WITHOUT any explanation as he had booked other people. When we asked for explanation he told us off to talk quietly. We asked him again QUITELY respecting his request (which was more like an order )reason said scoopon deal is "cheap" and asked us to contact scoopon for refund .We didnt feel like continuing conversation as we respected the fact that other people were getting treated . He didnt even apologised or encouraged us to rebook. I felt the attitude was very racist and humiliating. I am hoping to get refund ASAP from scoopon. I have had good experience with other services from scoopon . This place is a shame to Scoopon!!
The place looks dodgy and cheap .

Got a groupon voucher for this place awesome value for money went to the one in frankston but when I got there nobody else in there apart from me and one massuer place was dead at 4:30 in the afternoon she could hardly speak any english let alone understand it worst massage ive ever had deep tissue when I asked for relaxation told the lazy several times it was too hard but she didn't understand what I was saying feel bruised and worse off than before I went there would only recommend if you like a very firm massage and like to be practically beaten up also used her knuckles it was horrible like I said worst massage ive ever had and ive had a few

Worst massage ever! Took my girlfriend here after buying two one hour massage vouchers for the both of us. We went to the St. Kilda location and it was busy Saturday, luckily I booked.. or so I thought. The lady in charged claimed I never made the appointment despite the texts I had from the store and made us have our "full body" massage right in front of the the front desk and entrance. The guy massaging me had no clue what he was doing punching me in the side of my leg at one point to bide time to complete the one hour. My gf didn't even get her front of her legs massaged as time ran out. My gf also understood what the lady in charge was saying in Chinese to her workers, claiming that we had vouchers and aren't worth their time.
Rude service and employers who don't have a clue and don't even care. Stay away!

Made appointments at Port melbourne centre to see Dr. Shen for three times ,when I turned up was told Dr. Shen did not work on that day, he forgot it.
the last time which is today,to avoid wasting time as last two events,I rang first was told the same thing Dr. Shen did not work on today, he forgot it.I said to the women staff who answered the phone that this happened three times,she did not want to listen any further ,screamed at me over the phone:"you 'd ring Dr. Shen make appointment,if you can not do it forget it".
I was shocked with the woman behaviour.The staff were so rude, has no respect for customer.Really disappointed with the service.would not recommend.
