Spleen Central

Spleen is an interesting place. Straight forward and no pretence here. There is an upstairs and downstairs area and front bar. If you are looking for a place to sit and talk with friends and have a beer or two then this is pretty good. It can get busy but has a good atmosphere.

Comedy! The Spleen may look like a dodgy bar from the outside, but that's ok - it is. The carpets are uneven and sticky and it's dark and gloomy away from the stage, but the star of the show here isn't a squeaky clean bar, it's the fact they have free comedy shows on every Monday!

Some of the biggest acts in Aussie comedy pop in here regularly to do unannounced shows, try your luck one night. Even if there's no star I bet the local comics with show you a great evening.
