Worst Experience – Now Taking Them to VCAT

Absolutely disgraceful service. Took my car here and deeply regret it. What was supposed to be a simple repair turned into a drawn-out disaster. Darren, the owner, is full of empty promises but takes no responsibility when things go wrong — and everything went wrong.



The job was delayed by weeks without any updates unless I chased them. When I finally got the car back, the work was sloppy: mismatched paint, poor panel alignment, and even damage that wasn’t there before. When I raised these issues, Darren was rude, dismissive, and clearly not interested in fixing the mess they made.



I’ve now had to file a complaint and am taking them to VCAT to recover the cost of fixing their mistakes. That should tell you everything you need to know.



Avoid this place like the plague. Save yourself the stress, time, and legal trouble — go somewhere that takes pride in their work and respects their customers.

I went in on a Saturday to get a quote for a repair on a front quarter panel. The owner didn't seem to have time for me and said he'd write up a quote on Tuesday and send it to me, gave me a bull-crap spiel about decal stickers being very expensive so it would be an expensive job.

Come the Thursday after I called to ask for a copy of the quote as I hadn't got it yet and he said he hadn't done it. He asked how much other places had been quoting it for and I said I can't tell him that it's unethical. He said he wanted to know if he could even come close to the price so I quoted him a price that was actually double what another panel shop quoted ($1150) and he said he couldn't beat that price so he wouldn't give me a quote.

He just didn't want to do the paperwork, which means this Saturday I'll have to go find another panel shop to get a quote as I need 3 quotes for insurance etc.

Poor service, Time waster.
