On an unexpected Day off being a Time Poor Construction worker, I rang Mr Cool and the response from the phone call to the service was Top quality old fashioned service and honest I left fully informed and impressed with the staff and business Highly Recommend

I took my car in because the air con wasn’t working like it used to. I found the staff and service really friendly and helpful. They didn’t push me into anything I didn’t want and took the time to really explain the repairs and what was needed and why. I’ve had a few friends use Mr Cool and they all thought highly of them so I gave them a go. As someone who knows their cars I can say the repairs were fantastic and high quality and my air con works like new. You’re really getting the best quality workmanship in Brisbane here. These guys know their stuff.

I went to Mr Cool as my air conditioning has been playing up where it was not sending out cool air during really warm weather but otherwise worked fine. The quote I received was around $2500 due to leakage in the evaporator and the dashboard has to taken apart in order to replace it. It sounded like a pretty big job and costly as well so one would expect the staff to be a bit more helpful in explaining what those terminologies mean and what needs to be done, after all not everyone is familiar with car mechanisms. I went to another 2 companies afterwards and neither found any leakage in my air conditioner so it was a much simpler and cheaper fix after that.

I would definitely recommend people to get a few different opinions before deciding.

I am a 19 year old woman

I went in for a quote and felt like the receptionist was trying to make me pay for things I didnt need like my radiator which was fine. When i said no she quoted me without it. So clearly it didnt need replacing they were just trying to play me a fool.

When I called back to say I didnt want any work done and to pick up my car a guy answered and said I could pick it up after lunch so I got lunch nearby and afterwards I got a message from them saying I cant get my car till after 5pm as its behind another car that has been pulled apart.

So they took my car all day even though I was told I could pick it up after lunch.

Overall I think it was very unproffessional and wouldnt reccommend this place to anyone as it completely ruined my day
