I had Lightfoot Wheels build a pair of Moto Guzzi wheels with brand new Borrani rims. He drilled the valve stem holes 4.5mm off centre in two brand new Borrani rims. Yeah, that's right drilled both valve holes way off centre! Laced up the rear hub with 12mm too much offset to the right. Used the incorrect and far too large of a diameter spoke for the rear hub and then they all had side tension by bending over each other to align into rim nipple hole, extremely dangerous indeed. The bloke is an absolute incompetent wheel builder, so beware. I should have known better when I delivered my hubs to him as he didn't know that there is a left & right side to the front hub. Front hub outer spokes should always face forwards identical as the rear wheel hub. One wonders how many Guzzi front hubs he has built incorrectly?
