Had my brand new car tinted at Tint Mart Morayfield. TLDR; the manager (Andrew) is incredibly unprofessional.

When I picked up the car they cautioned me not to put the windows down for 2 days and to be careful what window cleaner I used. I had a quick look in the car park and the job looked ok. When I got home I inspected it closer to see if there were any bubbles. I called them up to ask what was going on (so if it was something they needed to fix while the glue had not fully dried, they could fix it easily), and was bluntly told it takes a week for them to go away and was then hung up on while I was mid sentence. Fair enough, they take a week to go away I thought. I then noticed that there were some scratches on the inside of the window frame and chunks cut out of the rubber round one of the windows. When I called them back about the scratches and the window rubber, I was very angrily told to bring the car down and then before he put the phone on the receiver I heard him call me a f***ing wanker. So I went back to show him what I was talking about, only to be told the scratches were already there and cutting chunks out of the window rubber is normal. To his credit Andrew did point out one of the tinted windows which had not been stuck down properly and told one of his workers to fix it. Still, it should have been done right the first time. When I confronted Andrew about calling me a f***ing wanker he just shrugged his shoulders and said so what and told me I was expecting to find a problem from the very start.

Its been a couple of weeks now and most of the bubbles have gone, but some are still there as there is some dust stuck under the film. Part of me wants to take it back just to stick it to the place, but I dont want to waste my time and get in another argument with him, so Ill just live with the result.

There are plenty of places to get your windows tinted. I recommend going elsewhere.
