I agree totally with Alex T" I now live in Thailand and get,no joy from ANZ online.
Haven't seen a statement for months.

My local branch has closed so I have to use the most convenient from my home.
Every month I receive a pension cheque from the US. First thing they did was quote an exchange rate that was incorrect. They wrote it on a piece of paper that I need to keep for my records but didn’t return it to me.
Then, after getting home, I checked the transaction on ANZ app. It did not appear. When I banked at Chelsea, it always appeared as current and , within a few hours, it became available. I phoned the 13 number. They were unable to be give me an answer, so gave me the branch phone.
No one answers this phone. There is a recording and they tell you to give your name and phone number. They also say to phone the 13 number.
I don’t understand why the branch at Chelsea was closed. They had much better customer service. I always got answers to my enquiries. I never left feeling like I was interrupting their more important business.
I’ve phoned them three times. No answer yet. No wonder they got racked over the coals regarding Customer Service. Maybe a phone call up the ladder will get me some joy. Or another bank might treat me better.
