This store does not look after the animals in its care. Two little birds in their perspex cage (really a box) were so in distress and going out of their minds from lack of stimulation that they were flying back and forth over top of one another for lack of anything else to do. It was them, two perches, dirty water and hulled seeds. No toys, no cuttlebone, nothing to enable their natural behaviours. Total disregard from head office when I phoned.

I was very upset and disheartened to see two small birds for sale who were obviously distressed and going out of their minds in their little Perspex box. They had nothing at all available for mental stimulation and nothing to trim their beaks or claws on. It was just them, dirty water, hulled seeds and two perches. I tried calling the head office number to report this and was advised by the young women on the phone that she has never seen birds for sale with any toys in any store. Please do not spend your money with these heartless people.
