All about exposed aggregate

I hired Steve Davey of All About Exposed Aggregate for concreting at my property on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. After minimal progress, he pressured us into making two more payments, claiming he needed more money or couldn’t continue, despite there being no real justification for it. We paid Steve a total of $8650 and have basically nothing to show for it, the site never saw a drop of concrete.



Instead of completing the job, Steve abandoned the site, leaving it unsafe and incomplete.



The delays and excuses piled up one after another to the point of being implausible. He eventually stopped responding altogether and ghosted us.



We had to call and text daily for months until he finally agreed to a refund. Despite repeated promises, no refund has ever been paid. Instead, he has continued to delay, ignore and even request his tools back.



We’ve since learned from some of his past customers that he has treated them similarly. Some have lost even more than we did, which only reinforces how widespread this problem is.



This has cost us enormous time, stress, and additional expenses and we are now pursuing VCAT action for refund, rectification, and damages.



I wish I had read a review like this before engaging Stephen Wayne Davey. I cannot recommend All About Exposed Aggregate — be extremely cautious.
