Stage School Australia

I enrolled my 12-year-old daughter in Stage School Australia for 6 months at the Brentwood Secondary College campus, and our overall experience was very disappointing.

1. Very small stage role for a huge fee

After paying almost $1,000 for the 6-month program, my daughter received only a 5–7 minute stage role, where she spoke just a couple of dialogues. For the amount they charge, I expected much more substantial involvement and learning.

2. Constant teacher changes & very little actual training

Teachers kept changing throughout the term, and my daughter repeatedly said that most sessions involved playing games and chatting, with very little structured teaching or real skill development.

3. Venue changes that caused inconvenience

Several classes were moved to the Knox location, which is far for us and made weekly drop-off and pick-up very difficult.

4. Too many promotional emails

Throughout the 6 months, I received numerous emails pushing new courses and encouraging further enrolments. It felt like constant marketing rather than focusing on the students already enrolled.

5. Not worth the money

For such a large fee, I honestly did not find it worth it. I regret enrolling my daughter and would not recommend Stage School Australia to other parents.
