Master Finish Body Repairs

Really wonderful service from Lou and his team. We had an accident where the other party was at fault. Lou organized a full repair and hire car. We are grateful for his care and attention.

Avoid! Awful finish not worth the friendly service (and the threatening lawyer's letter).

I took my car to Master Finish in order to fix a botched job by another panel shop (from whom I got a refund). Lou was very helpful and they completed the work quickly. At the time I left a positive review. Unfortunately, after the glow of the friendly service wore-off, I realised that the finish was really bad. I took the car back to Master Finish twice, complaining that the paint was droopy around the filler-cap and had an orange-peel finish across the side of the car that they painted, both the re-repaired section and other areas. Each time, they polished the vehicle (which I have since been told simply polishes the clear-coat) but did little to fix the problem. I have subsequently taken the car to three professional panel repair businesses, each of whom were scathing about the finish they saw. I have also had quotes to restore the car to a reasonable condition ranging from $3369 to over $8,000.

When asked for either a refund or to pay to restore the car to a reasonable finish, Lou simply got his lawyer to write me a threatening letter - so much for the friendly service! Buyer beware.
