Great door but installation and service not the best

We are very happy with our door, the quality is fantastic. Our issue was with the installation process. It was a long drawn out process to get things done correctly after we had some rather big issues caused by the installation. Firstly, our architraves were split on installation and there were scratches on the door frame. The scratches were fixed very promptly. The architraves were replaced however not with the correct ones. We told them they were colonial but there are two different types of colonial and this was not checked first. We then discovered a scratch on the glass. When contacted about this I was made to feel that I was actually not seeing a scratch, perhaps something else then??? This all occurred within 4 days of installation. (I alerted the company to the scratches and issues with the architraves within these 4 days.) We said we would purchase the correct architraves ourselves and were told they would install them for us however we did not worry about this, we will do it ourselves to avoid any further issues. The glass took over 3 months to get replaced. Constant emails and phone calls were made to continue asking about when this would be done. I understand that companies are busy however when paying such a large sum of money for a product, I would expect that prompt service would be given to ensure things were in top condition as soon as possible after installation. Emails were not always responded to which resulted in follow up calls.

I had my sliding door installed 3 or 4 years ago and after a party someone had managed to disengage the sliding door. I called Regency and they came out in 15 minutes and quickly resolved the issue. Excellent service. Very impressed. I would use Regency again for any aluminium windows.
