Country Kitchen Catering

Our experience with Country Kitchen Catering was terrible. We would not recommend them.
We hired them to cater for our wake, speaking with them the several days leading up to the wake and confirming 2 days prior. We had no heating/cooking facilities and made it very clear that the hot food needed to arrive ready to serve. Not only was the food delivered cold, we were told it wasn't their problem and they offered no help to try and rectify the situation. We spent $85 each for 2 platters of "petit cakes and tartlets" and instead received Coles/Woolworths baby cupcakes that can be bought for less than $10/24. On top of that we ordered an assortment of baguettes and received only salmon. When I provided feedback I was told it wasn't enough notice and they had to use what they had available at the time. I was assured at the time I placed the order that they were able to take on the job, if I knew I was going to get substandard food I would have made other arrangements. I did receive a small refund to compensate but it wasn't enough to make up for the poor service, food and money already spent.
