Regrettably, I did not read these reviews before I engaged with this outfit. Outrageous fee charged for 33 minutes of actual work. I timed him with my wall clock and watch. Bill asked if I was "one of the rich old ladies". I'm not but he proceeded as if anyway. Disparaged everything and everyone. A simple repair for $685. No tax invoice was given at the time to me. I paid in cash.
I took the parts he removed to the nearby plumbing supply shop to ask the actual retail cost of the items. The helpful staff said in future to come in and they could recommend honest plumbers after discussing the amount Bill demanded. When he finally sent the tax invoice, it noted payment was by "credit card". He took cash and no record could legitimately be produced of my payment. Dodgy operator.

DISCLAIMER: The review published below is:
(a) a true and fair report of my communications and dealings with “Everyday Plumbers Pty Ltd”; and
(b) my honest opinion and review of “Everyday Plumbers Pty Ltd”.
Furthermore, Bill from “Everyday Plumbers” requested that I write a review of his services, which I felt obliged to do for moral and social reason. In light of same, I am excused from liability.
I would strongly recommend AGAINST engaging “Everyday Plumbers” at all costs. I implore anyone who is looking for a plumber to read the reviews of “Everyday Plumbers” online first before arranging for this plumber to attend.
I spoke to Bill on 17 August 2023 at which time I advised Bill that our tap in the kitchen was leaking, and that our laundry sink was blocked. Bill agreed to attend our premises, which is 3.5 kilometres away from our residence. Bill made no mention of the fact that to simply drive to our house, he would charge us a $190 call out fee. If you speak to Bill, make sure you ask him about his callout fee before you engage him!
He arrived at our property at 2:13pm. Whilst Bill was talking my ear off, he placed a “Work Authorisation” form in front of me and asked for my signature. At first glance, I was led to believe that he would be charging the following:
(a) Service Call: $190
(b) Additional Labour: $190 per hour.
(c) Waste/Sewer Machine: $185
At the very bottom of the form, there is a section entitled “OTHER” which states, “Tap in Stock - $285 + GST.” Then, in very, very small font there are his terms and conditions which state, inter alia, that he charges additional kilometres if more than 1 trip or over 10 km from nearest branch at $3 per kilometre.
In summary, Everyday Plumbers TOTAL fees to replace the kitchen tap, and unclog our laundry were an outrageous $1,513.68! It took him 3 HOURS to complete this work (even though he has 40 years of experience in the industry). A breakdown of those fees are as follows:
3 hours at $190 per hour: $570
Service call: $190
Waste machine: $185
8 km at $3.50 $28
Materials (as used) $363
Credit card charge: $40.08
GST: $137.60
TOTAL: $1,513.68
Before you engage Everyday Plumbers, make sure you research your prices first! Bill replaced our kitchen tap with a very basic tap that he had in the back of his van, and then he charged us $285 + GST for a tap that is readily available at Bunnings now for $50! The total charge for materials “as used” was a whopping $363!
Bill dilly-dallied around the house for 3 hours talking about absolute nonsense (i.e. nothing related to the plumbing task at hand).
When I questioned Bill why he had increased his kilometre rate from $3.00 to $3.50, and also, why he had charged me $40.08 to use his Eftpos machine when I didn’t use a credit card to pay, Bill simply chose to ignore these questions. I also asked Bill to provide me copies of the receipts for the materials he had used, Bill advised, “Our receipts are commercial in confidence.”
Bill and/or Everyday Plumbers are an absolute rip off. If I could give this company zero stars, I would.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
PS: If you read Everyday Plumbers reviews online, you will note that this company has a tendency to blame other plumbers poor workmanship/knowledge/skills as a justification for why they charge the outrageous (and somewhat unconscionable!) fees that they do. Watch this space...I suspect to receive a very narky reply from Bill/Everyday Plumbers to this very honest and truthful review.

$$$$$ expect minimum $380 for a repair job
Be very cautious of this business!
Wanted card details upfront and I now realise why, told me $190 on phone for 1 hour service, but also tacked on $190 callout that wasn't mentioned. Was so stingy he charged me km even though the job was in Osborne Park and he is located in Joondanna.
I tried to support a local business and it has bitten me on the backside. For example I recently had a burst water pipe that Tap Doctor fixed for $680 which included leak detection and pipe repair, removal of paver and reinstatement. All he done was replace a $12 valve.
Oh well, I'll take this one on the chin, but what goes around comes around sir.
Im guessing this is a a dodgy business. Read the bad google reviews, he belittles and attacks their credibility yet they seem genuine. The positive reviews are all generic lacking in detail, likely bots.

An absolute rip off price for the connection of new gas oven (connection already existing). Cancel the booking on the day then charge a $190 service call fee when finally available. Charge an Oxy / Acet usage fee when they don't need to use Oxy / Acet because they have another equipment. Avoid at all cost unless you are desperate.

The plumber that attended a burst water pipe was rude. He has charged for a service that wasn't used. Didn't fix the problem and said once the pipe burst got worse, call him back to fix it at another large fee
