I was doing a small job at home with no experience in tiling. The guy who attended me ( looks like the manager) took his time to give me full advice on how to do it and gave me useful recommendations and tips. First time in my life I have had so much attention for a small amount of purchasing.

Our Experience with Trend Ceramics was terrible and they ruined our renovating experience. We decided to tile our whole house and went with Trend Ceramics as it wasn't a cheap company and we assumed we would get a good Quality Product. We went with a wood finish tile for our 3 bedrooms. Once the tiles had been laid we noticed some unusual white marks on them, first we assumed it was leftover grout haze but after a lot of scrubbing and not being able to remove the marks we opened the unused boxes of the same tile we had leftover only to discover that every 2/10 tiles had these noticeable white marks on them. These marks looked like finger prints and as if some ones hand had been laying on the tiles during the curing/manufacturing process of the tiles.



After identifying the issue I called Trend Ceramics and spoke with Mark (the manager) who didn't seem interested in what I had to say. He told me to email them some photos and that he would check their stock and call me back. After about a week I still had not heard anything back from Trend Ceramics so I went into the store to speak to Mark. He brushed over the issue and said he hasn't checked the stock yet and would get back to me shortly.



Another week or more passed with no response from Trend Ceramics. I decided to go back into the store and take one of the marked tiles with me to show him in person. When my partner and I arrived at the store we spoke to the lady at the front counter who said that she had heard Mark and the owner of Trend Ceramics discussing this issue and she seemed taken back as to why they hadn't called or responded to my complaint.



We saw Mark at the back of the store so we went over to him and we showed him the marked tile that we had brought with us. He was immediately rude and condescending to my partner and didn't want anything to do with us. At first he started to say that he could see some unusual markings on the tile but as soon as he looked around and noticed another customer was in the store he became very rude and condescending and changed what he was saying. He then started to say that the markings are part of the wood pattern on the tile. He became increasingly rude and continued to walk around the store trying to show us other wood look tiles that had wooden grains/texture on them and saying that this is part of a wood pattern would you bring these back and complain?? Sorry Mark but we can tell the difference between what should be on a tile and what clearly should not be - such as these white finger prints!!!



After speaking with both the manager and owner of the business we noticed both said the exact same story and brushed off our complaint in the same way - their response seemed very much in fact rehearsed.



We honestly went in to the conversation happy to accept any form of discount on future tiles that we needed to purchase (as we were using Trend Ceramics for our whole house retile) but after our horrid experience with the management team and company who took no responsibility for their faulty products, offered no discount or any form of compensation we leave this review as a warning to others - go elsewhere for your tiles.



We worked hard to save for our first home renovation putting all our savings into it and the experience with Trend Ceramics not only added extreme stress but also tarnished the final look of our renovation.



Hopefully this helps others in their choice when they are looking for a Tile Company - we definitely would not recommend trend ceramics and find them to be a dishonest and appalling business to deal with.



So in short - go elsewhere and use a different tile company
