Quotes low and stings you later. Originally quoted $3k for exhaust and Intercooler piping to be made from scratch. Was told it would be cheaper if I supplied a prefabbed exhaust, so I did. I also supplied a cat, mufflers, exhaust rubbers, Silicon bends and hose clamps. At this stage, he only needed to supply the Intercooler pipe work. He advised me that he needed to make a dump pipe.(no dramas, thinking the cost had reduced be cause I supplied nearly everything). The only extra’s done from here was a rear exhaust mount and a 90deg bend welded to the air cleaner. I get a bill for $3800 after I had already supplied 85% of the components. I was told the bills should of been $4500 and he discounted the price. He then drops the price to $3300 which was still more than his original quote to make everything from scratch and supply his own materials. Make your own decision but I won’t be sending my car back to be ripped again.
