Aree's Alterations

I took my dress that I’ll be wearing to my son’s wedding to have it shortened. I stated that I wanted to keep the remnants of both the satin slip and the lacey dress for future use. When I picked up my dress, at a cost of $40, not only was my request forgotten, much to my annoyance, but the hem of the slip still had some frayed edges AND when I tried it on at home, the dress is not in line with the slip, and is hanging at least 2 cms below the dress!
