Better Built Homes

Alarm bells should have rung when I requested a price list for their designs and façade prices, and I was advised that Better Built Homes do not provide price lists. Whilst I received an email with the cost of the house designs we were looking to build, the cost of the Modern Façade was verbally advised to me by the consultant. Upon receiving the tender, the façade was significantly higher than the price advised to me verbally and further a large cost of approx. 30k was included to fix the contract for 12 months. In my opinion to only have a 6-month fixed building price is to open the customers to large variations in cost and I do not feel Better Built Homes are transparent, and not having a price list provided to their customers they can essentially put whatever price they want in, is my opinion. I feel mislead and lied to and I would NOT recommend Better Built Homes at all and in my opinion, it is best to go with a large builder who provides 12 month fixed pricing and who have the design and façade prices in a price list which they provide to you.
