We were initially excited to build our forever home in Pittsworth with Murray and Kim, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. After signing the contract, we were hit with constant variation charges—many for items we reasonably expected to be included, such as the builder’s plans.

We felt trapped, especially due to the rigid banking system that left us little choice but to proceed. During this time, I was also diagnosed with cancer and went through multiple surgeries and months of chemotherapy, which severely impacted our finances. Despite informing them that we couldn’t afford a $29,000 variation that came unexpectedly, they proceeded with the work without our agreement or even discussing the cost.

To make matters worse, communication has been poor throughout the process with any agreement made over the phone with Murray has not been honoured. We've received no updates, no site photos, and little transparency. When the bill finally arrived, it was still significantly overpriced. This entire experience has been stressful and disheartening. I regret ever trusting them to build our home.
